ICOM Finland
The Finnish National Committee of ICOM (ICOM Finland) is a registered association with more than 700 members. ICOM Finland co-operates with Finnish Museum Association and other organisation with related interest.
ICOM Finland encourages its members to participate in international committee meetings by granting subsidies for travel grants. One important objective is to ensure that national legislation is in accordance with ICOM's Code of Ethics. Annually in the International Museum Day, 18 May, ICOM Finland presents the Museum Achievement of the Year prize.
